The concept kbookcycle was formed in November 2010 shortly after the founders discovered Amazon was planning to implement eBook sharing "in the near future". The site launch was delayed due to the wedding of one of the founders, the fact that Amazon's official announcement of the lending service being available was pretty low key and that we're big procrastinators. The last part is the reason we hired an army of loyal, magical elves to finish implementing our vision.

What more can we say? We love our Kindles. We assume so do you, if you're reading this (if you're not reading this... who is?). That's the real reason we're starting this site.
